Terms
WERQ Jobs is a free directory published by WERQ TOGETHER, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Portland, Oregon. Using it means accepting the following, which is mostly a list of things we are honest about not being able to promise.
What this service is
A list of Portland-area employers, a count of how many openings each had when a person last checked, and a link to the employer's own careers site. That is the whole product.
What it is not
- Not an employment agency. We do not place anyone, represent anyone to an employer, or take a fee from either side.
- Not an application system. Every application happens on the employer's own site, under their terms.
- Not a vetted list of safe employers. Inclusion is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a claim that an employer is good to trans people.
- Not legal, financial or career advice.
Accuracy
Counts are gathered by hand and go out of date. Links break. Employers change their hiring plans without telling anyone. We correct what we learn about, but the directory is provided as-is and you should verify anything that matters on the employer's own site before you act on it.
Third-party sites
Every apply link leaves this site. We do not control those sites, their content, their hiring decisions, or how they handle your information. Any dealings you have with an employer are between you and them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Oregon law allows, WERQ TOGETHER is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this directory, including a job you did not get, an inaccurate count, a broken link, or your treatment by an employer listed here.
Employers
If you are an employer and want a listing corrected, updated or removed, email jobs@werqt.org and we will act on it. We publish only publicly available information about hiring, and we do not charge for placement.
Changes
We may update these terms as the directory changes. The date below is the last revision.
